Dr. Brooks received his degree in Health Science degree the University of North Florida (Jacksonville, FL) in 1996 and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University (Marietta, GA) in 2001. From 2023-2024, Dr. Brooks was the Chiropractic Physician for the University of Miami Athletic department, where he could be seen on the sideline of football games and other sporting events. With training in sports medicine, he has been team doctor for other schools and organizations which include: Coral Glades High School (Coral Springs, FL); Taravella High School (Coral Springs, FL); Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School (Hollywood, FL); Piper High School (Sunrise, FL); multiple years for the World Cup of Flag Football; and many other tournaments and events in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

Dr. Brooks has four terrific boys who are very much involved in high school and college sports. Dr. Brooks himself had offers to play basketball at the collegiate level, however, he chose to focus on his dream of becoming a Chiropractor. Now he spends most of his free time traveling with his wife (Marcy) and playing golf with his boys. He also volunteers with local organizations in the area.
